Ku-BAND

The Ku band is a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the microwave range of frequencies used in Satellite communications for VSAT Service Solutions. This symbol refers to "K-under" (in the original German, "Kurz-unten", with the same meaning)—in other words, the band directly below the K-band. The Ku-band is typically in the downlink frequencies of 10.7 to 12.75 GHz and uplink frequencies of 13.75 to 14.5 GHz.
