iDirect’s technology was utilized in the creation of the recently formed country of South Sudan.

For the past two years, iDirect, with its partner Skyvision, has been working with the South Sudan Ministry of Telecommunications to develop an IP-over-satellite solution based on iDirect’s technology.  Skyvision implemented the installation and support of a 5IF hub in the new South Sudanese capital of Juba.  The hub will connect regions of the country to the central government offices in Juba. This will afford the central government in Juba to communicate more efficiently with remote offices throughout the entire territory of South Sudan, enabling itto offer government services to the whole population.
